14 year-old at not recovering from anesthesia from an endoscopy to find out why she is losing weight. Otherwise seemed healthy. Now Not eating, just water and throwing it up for the last three days. Is dehydrated and sick. lethargic. What can we do to make her feel better? We wont have the results of test for a few days. We now wish we didn't have the test done.

RESPONSE:

Anesthesia is risky for older cats but considering the fact that your cat was losing weight, it was important to get some answers.

You might try a liquid milk replacer specifically made for cats that is easily digested and has the needed nutritional benefits. Available at most PetCo locations and other pet stores...you can scroll to the bottom of the page of Cat Nutrition to see examples.
