I want to get my cat spayed. Is antihistamine safe to use as a sedative on her?


Antihistamines are safe for cats in small doses. It is most commonly used in cats for motion-sickness, however, you may want to call your vet and get a recommendation prior to the spaying surgery so there is no conflict with what they will be using.
