Feeding Feral Kittens

I am feeding a feral cat who I decided was either pregnant or already had a litter. During my walk one day I saw her about a block away with the kittens. She still comes to my house several times a day to eat. After she ate she kept hanging around so I gave her a piece of meat and she carried it off. I assume she was feeding the kittens with it since they appeared old enough. She is doing this every day now. Am I doing her an injustice by providing food for the kittens. I was in the process of trying to trap them but she keeps moving them.

RESPONSE:

There are groups such as Alley Cat Allies that trap and neuter feral cats/kittens so the process stops at some point but in the meantime feeding an animal that is hungry and trying to survive is commendable.
