Bordetella

How many days after a bordetella shot can a cat be boarded?

RESPONSE:

For cats that are residing in muliple-cat environments the Bordetella vaccine is a wise option to utilize. The vaccine is protective within two days of being administered. The duration of protection is controversial so cats at risk should be re-vaccinated each year and high risk cats may be vaccinated every six months for additional security.
