cats eye and nose

HI, My cats one eye started out as tearing, with a small pink growth in the corner of the eye.It also then was puffy under the eye and then he would sneeze about 8 times in a row sometimes.the nose doesn't run, but he sneezed quite a bit last time it bleed a tiny bit.Is his eye the problem or something else, like a tooth abcess possibly?

RESPONSE:

There are a number of possibilities including a tooth issue, but it sounds more like an allergy of some type. Every spring one of my cats gets a puffy eye and sneezes a lot. She normally is allowed out on the second floor terrace which has screening even though they are indoor cats. So I apply Vetericyn Ophthalmic Gel to her eye and in a day or two all is well.
