Hair tufts on Siamese kitten

by JES

What would cause a purebred Siamese kitten to be born with tufts of longer hair?

RESPONSE:

Typically, a kitten born with longer tufts of hair indicates that it will be a long hair when it matures. However, in the case of your Siamese cat, I'm not sure that applies.

Perhaps one of our readers can answer that for you.
